Overview
A leading Android device manufacturer delivers smartphones certified for use across the largest US mobile carriers. With evolving Radio access technologies (RAT) (2G through 5G NR and NTN), carrier certification requirements and frequent Android releases, the client needed a trusted engineering partner to ensure consistent telephony and modem performance across multiple network and device environments, keeping pace with the evolution.
We designed and executed a comprehensive validation program for them covering Android telephony, modem functionality, eSIM, emergency calling and Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) capabilities. By combining live network testing with certification-grade simulator validation, we helped the client accelerate carrier certification, improve device quality and launch new devices with confidence.
The Challenge

An end-to-end Android telephony and modem validation framework
